Image rail
Build editorial image rails with Featured card blocks that look and behave like the settings merchants edit in Shopify.
Use Image rail when a brand story needs a sequence of campaign, studio, process, or product-atmosphere cards. The most important block is Featured card because it controls each piece of media, text, link, and column placement.

- Choose media and crop.
- Write short card text.
- Add a useful destination.
- Choose main flow or sticky rail.
- Set visual scale.
- Fine-tune alignment last.
Setup Guidance
- Start with 3 to 5 Featured cards so the rail feels intentional, not endless.
- Use consistent media tone across the rail: campaign, studio, process, or product atmosphere.
- Put only one or two cards in the sticky rail unless the page is intentionally editorial.
- Use Hero or Large visual scale for the most important card, then Medium or Small for supporting cards.
- Preview mobile after the first two cards because sticky rail behavior simplifies on smaller screens.
Common mistakes
- Mixing unrelated photo styles inside the same rail.
- Using long excerpts that make the rail feel like a blog article.
- Manually setting grid columns before the basic flow and sticky rail choices work.
- Adding video to several cards and making the page feel heavy.
- Forgetting to add useful links when the rail should lead to products, collections, or story pages.
